Nick Robbins: My Priorities

Staten Island's future is in our hands. In the Assembly, I'll be laser focused on:
  • Public Safety, repealing/replacing 2019 bail reform.
  • Upgrading curriculum to prepare students for real life / expanding accessibility and options to Continued Education programs.
  • Quality of Life Issues: Our streets must be clean and properly maintained & those who cause disturbances in our communities must be held accountable.
  • Fighting Corruption. Nothing gets done in New York because of the culture of corruption & fear in Albany. I will never tolerate it.
  • Supporting our law enforcement, first responders, veterans, military and their families.
  • Investing in recovering and new businesses affected by the pandemic & the draconian measures of the Cuomo administration.
  • Secession. I will fight to make sure New York City doesn’t continue to drag Staten Islanders down with poor services & radical policies.
  • Building 21st Century Infrastructure (Roads that don’t blow out your tires, weekend bus service on all lines, and lower bridge tolls.)
  • Cutting Bureaucratic Red Tape. It shouldn’t take a lifetime to get simple tasks accomplished in NYS. Let Staten Islanders thrive.
  • 0% State Income Tax on New Yorkers making under $200,000 a year ($425,000 couples). It’s possible and desperately needed.

  • Prioritizing the most vulnerable
  • Lowering health care costs
  • Sensible immigration reform
  • Promoting and working for democracy and diversity
  • Supporting our veterans and military families
