The Attorney General’s Report confirmed what we all knew to be true: Governor Andrew M. Cuomo is a criminal who’s unfit to serve. His resignation was welcome, however it is not enough. This outcome allows the Governor to leave on his own terms escaping with zero accountability. With over $18 million still in his bank account and avoiding impeachment, he may run again. That is not acceptable.

The Governor must be held truly accountable for his:

• Handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in nursing home which lead to the deaths of 10,000+ seniors and the Executive Chamber’s actions to cover it up.
• Sexual Harassment and Assault against subordinates, employees of New York State.
• Use of state resources to write his pandemic book on ‘leadership’, earning him $5.1 million.
• Attempt to hide structural defects on the remodeled Tappen Zee Bridge, risking public safety to open a pet project before an election.
